Jeffrey T. Larson has been painting professionally since he graduated from the prestigious Atelier Lack in 1984. Four decades, multiple one-man shows and most importantly, 40 years of painting from life, has brought him to this moment where he is more excited than ever to consolidate his knowledge and experience into his next body of work.

Larson is primarily known for his still life and outdoor figure work, for which he has been awarded first place in each category in the Art Renewal Center’s International Salon. His painting Three Velázquez received American Art Collector’s Award of Excellence in this year’s 17th International ARC Salon. In 2024, Larson was also awarded the Draper Grand Prize for his work in the Portrait Society of America’s International Portrait Competition, which received 3,000 submissions from 64 countries. He has placed over 800 paintings in both private and public collections including the New Salem Museum and Academy of Art, and the Tweed Museum of Art. His life and career was the focus of an hour long, Catalyst award-winning documentary from British film maker, Joe Hawkins, which can be viewed on Larson’s website.
